Have you made your resolutions? Are you sticking by them this year? Are you serious, dedicated and committed to making them a reality?

A group of resolutions at the end of the year are great, but how many people actually follow through with their new year’s resolutions?

I think it has become more of a post modern techno club scene for goal setting than anything else.  Here’s what typically happens:

First this idea of resolution pops into the Resoluter’s mind like a balloon reaching the atmospheric popping pressure from the techno clubs ad on television promoting the hot new club flashing you to come down.  Second the emotion of doing something better in life envelopes the resoluter like a fire engulfs a hot drink while a dancer on the lighted floor makes your insides curl. Third the friends call and ask you to come join them in their celebration towards a new life, counting down the minutes like hens plucking corn.  And finally the next morning you wake up and forgot everything that happened.

That’s typical right, but of course there’s exceptions. (The exceptions are the ones who will reach their goals for 2010 while enjoying the benefits of their accomplishments.)

After the New Year’s Bash-olution has swept away most people’s commitment to themselves, the most important question we need to ask ourselves, if we truly want to be successful with our lives, is, “where is the action plan?” And “where is the action?”

Manifestation of our dreams into reality is really quite simple.  It might not always be easy, but yes it’s simple.  You just need to follow the formula set by the Universe since the first tick of time, and make it happen.

Being quite frank, the most important factor of succeeding in any endeavor is to take ACTION!

Planning is wonderful, needed and fun, but without action there’s is no knot in the rope. Action can both tie the knot, or untie the knot, depending on what you need?

So what do you need this year for your plans of success to come to fruition.

1. You need a dream!

2. You need a Plan!

3. You need emotion!

4. And you need ACTION!

ACTION is the grain that holds the piece of bread together, without it you just have a BIG PILE of oats and wheats and barley!

Every successful business needs the right plan and the right advertising to put that plan into action!

Review these four necessities above at least two more times, then seriously consider the advantages your life could benefit from if you had achieved your dream!

Were they good, bad or in between?

If you don’t have a retail business, how have your sales been through this fluctuous month of November and into December?

Did you know that so far the statistics show that Black Friday had MORE ONLINE SALES THIS YEAR compared to last year?!!

So what can you do to make sure you are going to have good results these last few weeks in December and into the next year?

2. Don’t put a date on any of the marketing pieces so if you have leftovers you can use them next year.

3.  Start spreading the word about your promotions, your business and your company today! And don’t stop!

5. Obtain inexpensive lights and accessories to fancy up your business and attract the holiday cheer.

6. Offer smoe sort of free giveaways or treats if your clients bring a friend or family member

7. Stay positive and keep advertising, in any way that you can…

…and don’t focus on spending so much money!

A post card promotion!

Post cards cost between $130-$330 depending on design and the number of thousands you want to print, WHICH CAN YIELD YOU A RETURN OF DOUBLE, TRIPLE QUADRUPLE OR EVEN MORE IN PROFITS, and all you need to do is have one of your employees, or a hired helper go door to door and hand them out for a minimum of 4 hours per day.  Your employee should get the business card of every place they go to, or the name and email and phone number of any person interested in your offer, and use a follow up method to make sure and answer any questions your potential clients may have.

The biggest retail sales day of the year is approaching rapidly…Are you ready for the explosive and profitable impact it can have on your business?

This article is going to explain exactly what Black Friday is, how your business may or may not be effected by it, and how to best capitalize on its ferociousness, even during these economic times.

Don’t think that just because you don’t have a retail business that you are excluded from the possibilities Black Friday has to offer.

And don’t think that just because your retail store is located nicely in the heart of a high traffic shopping center that you will automatically be enlightened by an abundance of fortune!

All of this depends on certain factors. And that’s exactly what we’re going to discuss!

In November 2006 I was standing in the middle of a 10′X4′ Kiosk with 6 of my fellow employees when the madness of black Friday unleashed its fury!  All four sides of our kiosk were being rampaged by a never ending mob of what seemed to be hungry wild animals starving to spend their last ten dollars on the specialty shelf item. We were like a pack of wolves watching our sheep, and they were like a pack of bears watching their wolves.  The difference was that they didn’t come to buy what we had to offer, so we really had to work!

That day as a manager I made more sales myself than any other day of the entire year.  And that day my team also made more sales than any other day of the entire year.  We drank some 45 odd red bulls, talked to hundreds upon hundreds of new clients, slept 2 hours and brought the company around $20,000 profit…. in one day!!

And that was all because we were prepared. We prepared all year for this day, and the rest of the days following leading up to Christmas.

Let’s move to the next year.  In 2007 sales on Black Friday were sky rocketing again!  Stores were slammed with the same hungry mob that lurks hours upon hours in the cold night waiting for doors to open at 5:30 am the next morning, and people were spending money like it was loaned to them from a bank!   The same carnage continued as the previous year, but I was no longer in the wireless industry, I was into personal development, finance and advertising, (the same as I am now and certainly will be much of the future of my life).  The difference was that in 2007, I was opening a new business, and being unprepared at that time due to a lack of resources and planning, made it much more difficult than we would have hoped for.

In 2008 the markets starting crashing, the real estate industry began tumbling down, brokers were going broke, the economy was collapsing and everybody was afraid that nobody had any money, creating the fear that everybody in business should be closing because of a decrease in sales, especially around the holidays.

To the pessimists, economists and “depressionists” surprise, sales in 2008, amidst all the terror and frightening caused by the media and the government, actually increased!  When nobody in the country seemed to have any money, once it came time for the spending fever to unleash, it spread like an epidemic and everybody’s thinking system changed.  In 2008, sales on black friday were estimated around some forty to forty-one billion dollars! (yes, thats billion with a B!)  Many stores reaching sales above 7%, 8%, 9% and 10% increase than the year before!

So as soon as somebody tells you that its time to pack your bags and take the bench for the rest of the year, I would be one to second guess that opinion, especially if I’m the owner of any business, and I would think hard about where the right place is to invest my energy and income in order to get the best return!

These are only a few statistics and my personal experience of black friday and holiday shopping over the past few years, and I’m not the only one to have these experience, there’s millions others just like me, and millions of others just like you, but the question is, “are you willing to do what it takes to have a profitable holiday season for your business?”

So let’s take a look at where your business fits into all of this.  How can your business benefit this year from the onsalught of profits available from Black Friday?

Let’s just see.

If you have a carpentry business you can profit from building new gazebos, walls, new guest houses, and new areas in people’s houses to install insulation to keep families warm, or you could even venture into a new area of carpentry.

If you have a sandwich shop, bagel menu or a local restaurant… you can profit from offering a discount on family meals and childrens sandwiches while accenting your dressings and condiments with Thanksgiving and Christmas colors.

If you are a networker or  MLM guru, you can profit from giving away gift packages as presents at a discounted price while saving your clients time, money and stress by avoiding the over-packed stores and hectically overwieght malls during this Holiday season!

Of course if you are a toy store, shoe store or clothing outlet, you simply need to have the right promotions to attract people to come to your store with instead of the others.

And even if you are an attorney, you can profit from the many poor choices that people make when they drink and drive this holiday season. (Of course hoping that people actually make good choices everyday.)

No matter your marketplace, there is a place for Black Friday, and there is a way for you to profit from this upcoming spending frenzy.

This year may not entail the highest gross amount of profits i n comparison to the previous years, but for sure, if there are stores that have consumer goods, products and services that people want, than there are people that have credit cards, bank accounts, dollar bills and loans to buy them.

The most important thing you can do to prepare for this holiday season is to know your benefits and advantages in the market place, create the right marketing materials to attract the right kind of customers, prepare and print the marketing materials in advance, and do something about it now while there is still little time left!

Remain positive and don’t listen to the negativity being spread out upon the wavelengths every day.  When we think and act upon what we really want, than anything is possible.

Well, whatever your goals were in the first two weeks of the year, remember, this quarter is the last chance to achieve those goals this year, but not the last chance to achieve them in your life.

You have your entire life to achieve your goals, dreams and desires.. but do you really want it to take that long? I know I don’t.

That’s why we need to practice our goals every day.  We need to implement a strategy for achieving our goals every day! We need to dream, focus, learn, grow, and take action every day to achieve those goals.

What’s your goal for your business in this year of 2009?

Did you set one? Did you plan to have 12 more clients per week, per month, per day?

How close are you to achieving those goals?

If you’re very far from them, here’s the step to take:

Reorganize!

Rebuild!

Replan!

Restrucutre!

Re-Begin!

And keep going! Now is not the time to sit back and wait out the storm. (Unless of course you are sitting on Mountains of cash and can afford a 7-20% profit loss per year! For most of us, we can’t afford that! And not even the Billion dollar companies are sitting around waiting to see what happens! They are taking action to figure out where there money is most valuable to the expansion of their company, and they are taking action!

Is it a little fearful?

Of course. Spending your last $2000 on a new website, sign, or marketing plan can become fearful! Imagine spending your last $1,000,000… But they are doing it! Because they know the necessity!

Read a little bit about what the top 50 companies are doing to stay alive and thrive in these times!

Put your money where it counts most! Where it can bring you  the most return, and where you can see a long term success rather than a short term achievement.

If your in it for the long run, then hang in there! The economy only has one way to go, (once it really hits the bottom) and that is back up! The people who are not afraid to take the right actions are the ones who are going to benefit the most!

Remember the phrase in high school that most people lived by, “looks are everything.”  Well, FORTUNATELY  in our day to day LIVES that’s NOT exactly the case, (though many people still live that way)…

BUT IN BUSINESS, that is exactly the case! Image is very IMPORTANT in business, and not only image, but the FEELING people receive when they are LOOKING at the image, colors, graphics, and website that represent your company’s presence.

SO TODAY, let’s go into web design tip numero tres! (Yes, we’re located and doing web design in San Diego, so spanish is our second language!

So here it is, web design tip number 3;

Work with the SPECIFIC COLORS and “vibration” of your client’s BUSINESS PERSONALITY. (It’s a good idea to read that sentence again)

If you HAVE HIRED SOMEBODY ELSE to design your website, then make sure that they know the core colors of your personal strengths, and the goals and strengths of your business.

This is very important!

There are many colors that work on the web, and these are called “web safe colors.”

And just as equally, there are many colors that dont work well on the web! These colors end up either being too bright, too dark, or unfitting for achieving the best results.

Additionally, different businesses work better, earn more profits, obtain more clients and have more success, simply by implementing the right colors that emit an emotional vibration from all of the marketing pieces; in this case, your website!

Make sure the web designer you choose is conscious of the necessity for implementing the right colors, and choose the core colors that represent you and your company best!

From a study done in 2006, the internet has attracted 1,086,250,903 people around the world, and  229,138,706 people in the US alone!! Now that’s a lot of people surfing the web like coastal beach boys and girls!!

And every one of them is going to someone’s website.

Is that website yours?!

What does your website look like?

More importantly, the question when doing web design, or having web design done, is this; “what does your website feel like?”

Remember, human beings use sensory perception such as feeling when they see or hear something, and that feeling is linked directly to the thoughts they are attracting and processing, as well as the vibration that is being emitted when they see or hear something.  (There’s some of us that can feel very precisely without seeing, and that is part of becoming 4D), but  one very important question you need to ask yourself is, “what does my website FEEL like?”

The very similar feelings that you are receiving about your website, surely will be felt by many others, (of course not everybody will tune into the same feeling) but if you’re accurate on your feeling, then you will more than likely share the same feelings that your visitors are having.

Here is your web design self analysis;

Is the feeling of your website design…

bad?

cluttered?

heavy?

light?

powerful?

weak?

complicated?

slow?

fast?

Or a combination of these?

There are specific feelings you want to create when designing or having a website designed that should be implemented for specific businesses and goals of those businesses.

For example, when we are doing web design here in San Diego, or anywhere, we work specifically work with color psychology, vibrations, frequencies, feelings and the essence of the website or business owner to create the right site that is going to give them the most results. If you are an artist, and you want to display your art shows online, but not sell anything, surely your website needs to have a different look and FEEL than a shoe salesman who wants to have an E-Commerce site that distributes shoes to foreign countries.

So I’d be happy to explain.
